Women Worldwide - West Coast Board Each of our Board members is a non-paid woman who chooses to serve our non-profit community for a two-year term. The Board positions focus on areas of support which provide an avenue for each Board member to give in an area of her gift or specialty. Serving on the Board, members give their knowledge, organizational and personal growth and creativity in support another women’s journey. Often, in doing so, they themselves develop new talents and directions.
Due to a rotating term schedule, Board positions become available throughout the year. If you are interested in serving and helping women on a broader level, or just have a question, please contact our Vice President.
Board meetings are held monthly, via conference call, typically on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. An annual "face-to-face" meeting is held in either Northern California or Southern California, depending upon the location that will require the fewest Board members to travel. Board meetings are the appropriate forum for the discussion of issues effecting the region membership, and we invite you to suggest agenda items. Please contact the President to add items to the next meeting's agenda.
